Sunset sailing allows you to enjoy the beautiful colours of the exquisite Patagonian sunsets depending on the time of the year, as it takes place in the afternoon, unlike Todo Glaciares, which starts in the morning.
We set sail from Punta Bandera Port, 47km from the city of El Calafate.
Once on board the boat, Sunset starts sailing towards the Spegazzini Channel, from there we will descend to the Spegazzini Base right in front of the glacier, to enjoy the Spegazzini Refuge, which has all the services you need during your day. From there we will be able to have unique views of three incredible glaciers: the South Heim Glacier, the Peineta Glacier and the imposing Spegazzini Glacier. The largest of them all, which is waiting to offer you a majestic view with its height of more than 135 metres.
After sailing, we will approach the Spegazzini Glacier to contemplate its great mass of ice. Then we will visit the Seco Glacier and finally we will head towards the Upsala Channel, where we will experience the incomparable sensation of sailing among icebergs, some of which are very large, that break off from the Upsala Glacier.
We will return to Puerto Punta Bandera.
