The excursion starts with the pick up at your accommodation in El Calafate. From there, the tour starts along the Provincial Route 15, also known as "Camino de las Estancias".
After 55 km on gravel roads, you’ll arrive at your destination: Estancia Nibepo Aike. Upon arrival, your host guide will greet you and accompany you to the Quincho, where you'll enjoy a warm drink and homemade pastries.
You’ll then take a guided tour of this traditional Patagonian ranch and learn about its rich history and the pioneering family that still runs it today.
Among the activities offered, you can choose a walk or horseback ride to La Angostura, where Lake Roca and Lake Argentino meet—an unforgettable spot surrounded by nature.
The experience continues with a visit to the shearing shed, where you'll gain insight into the traditional work of the shearing crews, followed by a demonstration of sheep herding, milking, and rein handling skills.
To finish off, an unforgettable lunch will be waiting for you in the Quincho: the traditional Patagonian lamb barbecue.
After sharing stories, nature, and traditions, you'll head back to El Calafate along the same scenic route.
