The activity starts at Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate.
Once on board, you will start the navigation through the Canal de los Témpanos and then enter the Mayo Sound of Lake Argentino. The glaciers of Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro are located in an area where the only way to reach them is by lake.
Afterwards, you will disembark at Toro Bay accompanied by a professional guide, where you will take an interpretative walk (distance 700 metres) to observe the Patagonian Andean forest. You will visit a waterfall from where you will be able to observe a formation of calcareous rocks. From the shore of the lake, you will observe the hanging glaciers of Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro.
Back on the boat and, in only 15 minutes more of navigation, you will arrive at the next stop. You will disembark at Cerro Negro, together with your guide, and start a walk of about 1.000 mts, going deep into the Patagonian Andean forest, until you reach the base of Cerro Negro, from where you will be able to contemplate the wonderful Glacier of the same name.
Back on the boat, you will continue your journey to the most famous glacier in Patagonia, the Perito Moreno. You will disembark at Puerto Moreno and take a tour of the walkway area.
Finally, you will return to the boat and start the return trip to the port of Punta Bandera.
