A journey that reveals the beauty and calmness of the surroundings

The excursion begins with the pick up at your accommodation in El Calafate, from where you will start a 25 km drive along Route 11 to Cerro Frias.

There, from the Hostería Eolo, you will start the horseback ride up the slope of the hill, observing lenga forests and native flora and fauna. You will begin the tour crossing a valley to start climbing the slopes of the mountain. Within 30 minutes of starting, you will already have views of the Centinela Valley and the Torres del Paine.

You will continue the route uphill until you reach the high fields of the hill, where you will eventually be able to see the cattle of the ranch and wild animals such as guanacos, hares, foxes, armadillos and skunks. From this camp, you will have a breathtaking view of Lake Argentino, Torres del Paine, Brazo Rico and the valley of Estancia Anita, among others.

Upon returning to the base of the hill, you will enjoy free time at the ranch’s barbecue area.

The activity concludes with the return to the city of El Calafate, with new memories of Patagonia.
