Disembark at Estancia Cristina visiting breathtaking landscapes of Lake Argentino and views of the Upsala Glacier.

The activity begins at Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate.

Once on board, you will start sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, until you reach the Upsala Channel, to experience the unique sensation of sailing among icebergs, some of which are very large, that break off from the glacier of the same name. This route will provide access to the Cristina Channel, to finally disembark at the Estancia.

Upon arrival, you will join the expert guide who will accompany you during the day, and you will set out to Ascent to Los Perros Waterfall, crossing a natural transition zone between two different ecological systems, identified as a semi-arid ecotone. Upon arrival, you will be surprised by an incredible panoramic view from Lake Argentino to Lake Pearson.

On the way back, you will make another low-difficulty hike towards the Caterina River, the waterwheel and a chapel near the Estancia. You will also visit the Museo Costumbrista, a former shearing shed, which tells the story of the pioneers of this remote land.

Finally, you will enjoy lunch at the Estancia’s restaurant, and then embark and return to Puerto Punta Bandera.
