Upsala Trekking + 4×4

The activity begins at Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate.

Once on board, you will start sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, until you reach the Upsala Channel, to experience the unique sensation of sailing among icebergs, some of which are very large, that break off from the glacier of the same name. This route will provide access to the Cristina Channel, to finally disembark at the Estancia.

Upon arrival, you will join the expert guide who will accompany you during the day, and start the ascent of the Feruglio Mountain in 4×4 vehicles to the only land viewpoint of the Upsala Glacier, the starting point of the expedition.

You will walk along a canyon, where you will be able to observe a large concentration of marine fossils that have been exposed by glacial erosion.

Lunch will be provided during the expedition, which will end with the arrival at the Estancia and return by boat to Puerto Punta Bandera.
