Enjoy a unique view from the viewpoint of the Upsala Glacier.

The activity begins at Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate.

Once on board, you will start sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, until you reach the Upsala Channel, to experience the incomparable sensation of sailing among icebergs, some of them of great size, which detach from the glacier of the same name; this route will provide access to the Cristina Channel, to finally disembark at the Estancia.

Once at the Estancia, you will join the expert guide who will accompany you during the day, and you will embark on an expedition through Patagonian landscapes in 4×4, until you reach the privileged viewpoint of the Upsala Glacier, which will be the starting point for a 15-minute hike.

It will be done over glacial erosion terrain, while having a privileged view of the Upsala Glacier, Lake Guillermo, Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the Andes Mountains.

On the way back to the Estancia, you will visit the Museo Costumbrista, an old shearing shed, which tells the story of the pioneers of this remote land.

Finally, you will enjoy lunch at the Estancia’s restaurant, and then embark and return to Puerto Punta Bandera.
