The activity starts at Puerto Punta Bandera, located 47 km from El Calafate.
Once on board, you will start sailing along the North Arm of Lake Argentino, until you reach the Upsala Channel, to experience the incomparable sensation of sailing among icebergs, some of them of great size, which break off from the glacier of the same name, and then you will access the Cristina Channel, to finally disembark at the Estancia.
Once at the Estancia, you will join the expert guide who will accompany you during the day, and you will embark on an expedition through Patagonian landscapes in 4×4, until you reach the privileged viewpoint of the Upsala Glacier, which will be the starting point for a 15-minute walk.
It will take place over glacial erosion terrain, while having a privileged view of the Upsala Glacier, Lake Guillermo, Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the Andes Mountains.
On the way back to the Estancia, you will visit the Museo Costumbrista, a former shearing shed, which tells the story of the pioneers of this remote land.
Finally, you will enjoy lunch at the Estancia's restaurant, and then embark for the return journey to Puerto Punta Bandera.
