Discover the Patagonian Steppe by Sailing the Santa Cruz River

Live a unique experience navigating the Santa Cruz River in the heart of the Patagonian steppe. An adventure combining 4×4 driving and navigation, blending nature, unexplored landscapes, and the history of the region.

08:50 hs | Pick up from your accommodation. Transfer in 4×4 vehicles from El Calafate to Paraje Charles Fhur.

| Preparation and safety briefing. Equipment delivery and warm-up before starting the navigation.

| Navigation on the Santa Cruz River. An 80-minute, 15 km journey to Estancia El Rincón, crossing a unique area of the Patagonian steppe. Possibility of observing native flora and fauna.

| Lunch at the estancia. Enjoy a typical meal while contemplating Patagonian landscapes.

13:30 hs | Return to El Calafate. Return trip by 4×4, first along gravel roads across the steppe, then along Route 40 back to town.

• Age limit: from 16 to 65 years old. FORBIDDEN for pregnant women.  
• COMPANION option. For those who do not wish to paddle, going directly to the estancia to wait for the kayakers and have lunch.

All bookings must be paid by bank transfer, bank deposit or credit/debit card. Credit card payments will be subject to a 6% surcharge. The booking is only confirmed with the 100% of the payment.
