Aventura Almanza - Penguin Sailing

Experience a unique journey at the End of the World, combining nature, navigation, and Patagonian cuisine. Just 70 km from Ushuaia, the King Crab Route takes you to Puerto Almanza, a charming fishing village where life revolves around the sea. Sail the Beagle Channel aboard a small boat toward Isla Martillo, home to Magellanic and Gentoo penguins, while enjoying breathtaking scenery and seabird watching along the way.

07:45 hs | Pick-up from your accommodation Departure from Ushuaia along National Route Nº3, enjoying panoramic views of the Andes Mountains and the native Patagonian forest.

09:15 hs | Arrival in Puerto Almanza. Welcome to this picturesque fishing village where our maritime adventure begins.

09:30 – 10:00 hs | Penguin Navigation.Board a small boat and navigate through the calm, protected channels of the Beagle Channel. Along the way, observe various seabird species before reaching Isla Martillo,home to colonies of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins in their natural environment.

11:30 hs | Visit to Puerto Almanza Village. Take a short walk around the village to discover how local families live and fish in one of the southernmost communities on Earth.

| Lunch in Puerto Almanza. Enjoy a delicious three-course meal featuring fresh local seafood, served with a glass of wine and water, in a serene and authentic Patagonian setting.

14:00 hs | Return to Ushuaia. Scenic drive back through rivers, valleys, and panoramic mountain landscapes.

15:30 hs | Arrival in Ushuaia.
