07:00 hs | Departure from El Calafate. Pick-up from your accommodation and transfer to Puerto Bajo de las Sombras (70 km).
09:00 hs | Navigation on the Brazo Rico. Cross by boat to the opposite shore, sailing for 20 minutes in front of the glacier’s southern face.
09:30 hs | Welcome. Upon arrival, mountain guides will greet you, organize the groups, and give an introductory talk on glaciology.
| Coastal Walk and Crampon Fitting. A 1-hour initial walk along the lake’s shore. Before stepping onto the ice, crampons and helmets will be fitted, and safety instructions provided.
| Glacier Trekking. Approximately 1 hour exploring the Perito Moreno Glacier, crossing crevasses, sinkholes, and striking blue ice formations.
| Return via the Moraine and Andean Forest. Hike back through the periglacial area and lateral moraine, enjoying panoramic views of the glacier, lake, and mountains, finishing through the Patagonian Andean forest.
13:00 hs | Return to Puerto Bajo de las Sombras.
14:00 hs | Visit to the walkways.
17:00 hs | Arrival in El Calafate.
